Cheryl Cooper practices business law, with an emphasis on marketing and advertising. With more than 20 years of experience in the marketing field, most recently providing content marketing to technology companies, Ms. Cooper offers the firm’s clients unique insight into the legal issues they could face in promoting their businesses.
Ms. Cooper graduated from Stetson University College of Law summa cum laude in December 2010, ranked first in her class. She was on the Dean’s List for all semesters during which she was eligible, and she received the highest grade in several courses, including Trusts & Estates, Federal Pretrial Practice, Research & Writing I, Property II, Environmental Law, and International Environmental Law.
Ms. Cooper competed in the Phelps Dunbar First-Year Appellate Advocacy Competition and participated in Stetson Law’s Honors Program. Upon graduation, she received the Walter Mann Award for outstanding leadership, the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award, and the Elizabeth M. Leeman Award for best published work in the Stetson Law Review. She served as Marketing Editor of the Stetson Law Review, received the Stetson Law Review Darby Award and Outstanding Associate Award, and presented her published paper for the Stetson Law Review Scholarship Series.
Ms. Cooper has served as Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Virginia M. Hernandez Covington of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of The Florida Bar.
